with a staff of estimators/project managers, Castles Bros.,
Inc. maintains a staff of highly skilled carpenters and
job superintendents. Maintaining a staff of carpenters
and job superintendents assures continuity on construction
projects. A brief background regarding each one of our
project managers is listed below:
Carl Castles, President Emeritus
Carl started working in the field as a carpenter for his
father, Harvey Castles, in 1956. Carl was instrumental
in moving Castles Bros., Inc. forward into the commercial
building trade as a General Contractor. Carl continues
to work as an estimator/project manager. His goal is to
maintain the integrity and reputation of excellence that
clients and subcontractors of Castles Bros., Inc. have
come to expect.
Dennis Castles, President
Dennis started with Castles Bros., Inc. in 1967, as an
apprentice carpenter, working with his father Harvey Castles
and brother Carl Castles. Currently, Dennis is an estimator/project
manager specializing in new commercial buildings and renovations.
As part owner of this family owned business, Dennis shares
the goal of maintaining client and subcontractor satisfaction.
David Castles, Vice President
Dave started with Castles Bros., Inc. in 1988 after working
in Florida as a journeyman electrician for five years.
After starting with Castles Bros., Inc. Dave worked in
the field as a journeyman carpenter and project foreman
where he gained valuable experience in the building industry. As a project manager, Dave has been responsible for various major projects. Some of these projects are Genesys satellite medical offices, numerous banking institutions, Grandma's Loft, and Bendle and Flushing Community Schools. Dave is currently an estimator/project manager specializing
in commercial buildings, additions, and renovations.
Brian Castles, Vice President
Brian Started with Castles Bros., Inc. in 1995 after completing
his degree in Construction Management. Brian began his
career with Castles Bros., Inc. working in the design
and fabrication of custom casework and cabinetry. This
experience along with his educational background afforded
him the knowledge necessary to become manager of this
division of Castles Bros., Inc. Brian also performs the
duties of project manager for various commercial projects.
Keith "Rocky" Rockafellow , Superintendent/Project Manager
Rocky has twenty-eight years experience in the construction industry. During his career he has worked as a carpenter/foreman, Superintendent, and project manger. Rocky has supervised or managed numerous industrial, commercial, and residential projects in the Flint area, including the demolition and rebuilding of Buick City, Auto World, Waterstreet Pavilion, Joseph Pontiac, Joseph Chevrolet, Fenton Silverlake Village, as well as several area credit unions, and banking institutions, renovations to Clio and Fenton Area Schools, and several churches.
Roger Castles, Health & Safety Advisor
and Estimator
Roger started with Castles Bros., Inc. 1996 after completing
his Master's Degree in Safety Sciences. Roger specializes
in design-build projects using Star Building Systems (pre-engineered
steel buildings).
